For Chinese companies
CE Marking
Consultancy and project management for Chinese manufacturers who want to place the CE mark on their products.
What is the CE mark?
The CE mark is a symbol affixed to products traded on the extended Single Market in the European Economic Area (EEA). It signifies that the product has been assessed to meet high safety, health and environmental protection requirements.
By affixing the CE marking to a product, a manufacturer declares that the product meets all the legal requirements for CE marking and can be sold throughout the EEA. This also applies to products made in other countries that are sold in the EEA.
CE marking brings two main benefits to businesses and consumers within the EEA:
- Businesses know that products bearing the CE marking can be traded in the EEA without restrictions.
- Consumers enjoy the same level of health, safety and environmental protection throughout the entire EEA.
How to obtain the CE mark
Manufacturers wishing to sell a product within the European Union are responsible for conducting a conformity assessment, preparing a technical dossier, issuing the EU declaration of conformity and, after all these steps, placing the CE mark on the product.
The CE mark applies to a wide range of products, from toys to electrical equipment, from medical devices to elevators and pressure equipment.
Each product faces a specific set of tests and evaluations, depending on its technical specification, on the documents already available and on the technical assessments already carried out by the manufacturer.
How we support your company
We cooperate with an extensive network of European laboratories, notified bodies and consultants, so that we can provide our services in a wide number of industries.
We guide and support manufacturers from the preliminary phase of the process (orientation, choice of the standard) to the complete execution of the conformity assessment.
