The sign
The logo of 中欧会客厅, ZOHKT, that is the Europe-China Meeting Point, incorporates elements representing China and Europe, such as the imagery of the Great Wall of China and the classical architectural contours of Europe. The combination of these elements symbolizes the connection and cooperation between China and Europe, showcasing the blending and respect of their cultures.
The two halves of the mark face each other around a central square: the meeting room (会客厅, hui ke ting) where hosts and guests sit together. The open C shape that embraces it stands for Connection and Cooperation, reflecting the open and inclusive character of ZOHKT and creating a comfortable and warm environment for Sino-European communication and interaction.
The colours
Klein Blue
Klein Blue was blended by the French artist Yves Klein. This unique blue is known for its purity, depth and strong visual impact: it goes beyond the traditional definition of colour and has become a symbol of art. We chose it as the main colour because it keeps up with the times, and because it symbolizes professionalism and rigour, conveying a calm and composed temperament and a reliable atmosphere for communication and cooperation. This blue also symbolizes peace, expressing the pursuit of peaceful and friendly exchanges in our Meeting Point.
Gold and silver
The auxiliary colours of gold and silver add a sense of nobility and delicacy to the logo. Gold symbolizes glory and prosperity, while silver represents modernity and technology.
Overall, the logo showcases the position and character of ZOHKT as a platform for exchanges, playing a positive role in promoting friendly cooperation and common development between China and Europe.
